Ingrown Toenail
An ingrown toenail is one of the most common toenail problems that cause corner sides of the toenail cut into soft flesh. The condition causes swelling, discomfort and pain. You can soak your feet in warm water for 15-20 minutes 3 times a day. It will help to reduce swelling and relieve tenderness. Try putting cotton beneath your toenail after soaking. This will push the nail grow above the skin. Also don’t forget to use a topical antibiotic to prevent infection.
Use shoes with open tips or sandals while treating the ingrown toenail.
